Legend has it that Ms. Virginia Jones was the true treasure leading the children's department of the old Carnegie Library in Paducah, KY. Many stories have been shared over the years of the time and dedication she contributed to creating magical reading programs for the children.

These keepsakes were recently donated to the McCracken County Public Library's Family and Local History Collection by a participant in those programs over 50 years ago.
