Itâs really how literally they interpret their bibles, I mean. And what I mean by âwatering downâ is, their interpretation of bible stories is gradually becoming less and less literal. Will there come a time in the future where their interpretation of the bible is so watered down that it will be like homeopathy, you know, it will just contain the essence of essential ingredients? And when it reaches this point, will it be just deism?

Question by â¢âLisaââ¢: How many chapters do bestsellers have?
Books like Twilight, Harry Potter just popular books, how many chapters do they have? I was just wondering this so I have rough guide and I know it's my book and it doesn't matter but, just a query? I'm writing and the plot says it will be somewhere near 30 chapters. Is that a decent amount?
Best answer:
Answer by Sarah Well, it's true that the later Harry Potter and Twilight books have around thirty chapters.
However, that's because the first few didn't have that many chapters - they grow as the story moves on and there is more to write about.
I mean, if you have enough to write about to make your book thirty chapters, then, by all means, go ahead and make a thirty chapter book :)
But, keep in mind that that's a lot of chapters, and a lot of writing (unless they're going to be short chapters).

âDozens of examples of successful signage at various placesâ"like public spaces, museums, and businessesâ"around the globe. . . . Each featured work is accompanied by text written by the firm that authored the signage.ââ"Step Inside DesignA signage system is much more than just a set of symbols. As well as its practical application, it helps to create an identity for a space and can add decorative flair to any built environment. Andreas Uebele draws on his own design experience to explore signage as a point where graphic design and architecture come together. He first describes the basic rules of signage design: signs must be visible but not distracting, informative but not unwieldy, and concise but not confusing. Striking the right balance is crucial. Color, typography, pictograms, and icons are all elements that can be varied and exploited to encapsulate as much information as possible and fit the jobâs requirements: the signage for a hospital, an airport, or a conference center may have little in common, and solutions must be tailored to fit the location. The book showcases great examples of signage design worldwide, with an emphasis on the most original approaches. It is an indispensable reference for communications designers and a must for architects, interior designers, and graphic artists. 250+ color and 250 b/w illustrations and photographs

When Oxford published J.M. Robert's History of the World in 1994, it was immediately acclaimed as a classic. Writing in the Observer, A.J.P. Taylor called it "a stupendous achievement...the unrivalled world history of our day." The Christian Science Monitor greeted it as a "landmark book....Highly readable...intelligently organized, insightful, and balanced." And The Sunday Telegraph declared, "There is nothing better of its kind."
Oxford now presents the new, conveniently-sized and affordable A Short History of the World. Vividly written, it brings the outstanding breadth of scholarship and international scope of the larger History of the World within the grasp of every home, school, and library. Completely up to date and comprehensive yet succinct, it accompanies readers on an amazing journey from the first appearance of the species Homo sapiens up to the bloodshed in the former Yugoslavia and the latest chapter in the exploration of space. Surveying the major events, developments, and personalities that have shaped the civilazations of the world, from the arts, politics, and religion to scientific and technical breakthroughs, Roberts carefully ties in economic changes--such as trade routes and developments in agriculture and manufacturing--making clear their importance for the history of politics and changing societies. Throughout, he brilliantly tells the story of the growing power of humans to remake their world and control their own destiny. Effortlessly drawing together the great themes of civilization with details from everyday life, he brings readers face to face with the exciting, dramatic, often tragic story that is the history of the world.
Following in the international success of Robert's History of the World, A Short History of the World is an indispensable reference that will inform, enlighten, and entertain readers for many years to come.
