MONTROSE — The Montrose area offers much outdoor recreation — from climbing Mount Sneffels to rafting the Gunnison Gorge, from hiking the Uncompahgre National Forest to biking through the adobes.

Scouts Camp At Harriman State Park

During the first week of November scouts from Boy Scout Troop 56 traveled to Harriman State Park for a weekend of hiking and camping. The scouts hiked with their packs before setting up camp at one of their favorite campsites which features rock cliffs and caves to explore.
