Question by calimom4: How much should I pay for part time childcare?

How much should I pay for childcare in southern california? I have a 13 month old and a 3 year old. Some days I will only need a sitter for 3 hour and others for 6 hours. My working hours will always be in the morning 'til early afternoon. I will provide all food and they will eat breakfast at home. There will also be days when I wont work at all. I have a friend who is willing to help me out but what is a good hourly wage?
