SVHW to hold Funds for Food walk in March

The Southern Valley Health Watch is holding a walk to raise cash funds for the Richland-Wilkin Food Pantry this March. The event, being held at the North Dakota State College of Science, is also to promote healthy activity, said SVHW organizer Judy Oren.

Public health agencies remind Santa Cruz County residents to watch for and quickly remove ticks. Adult ticks climb to the tips of vegetation in cooler months and attach themselves to hosts, such as deer, pets or humans that brush against them.
