Question by Monkeyshia (iz bak): Is it just me or is this done in almost every thrillers?

I mean, it has to be the most common thing in thriller movies. It's when the villain says "don't do anything stupid" and the trapped protagonist always does do something stupid. Especially the "don't do anything stupid" thing. That's been done to death.

Plus, they ALWAYS go into the attic or basement or they open the door AND the ALWAYS SCREAM! like screaming will help at all.

If they would only listen to the background music they could tell when they are about to do something really stupid.
